We're just a duo of ordinary, curious people who struggled… trying to figure out the best foods, exercises and habits to get and stay healthy, especially as we age. Our families have dealt with everything including weight gain, diabetes, gluten allergies, heavy metal toxicity, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid and other hormonal issues and what seems like an endless parade of challenges.
We grew frustrated at the lack of a consistent, simple way to handle these challenges - bouncing from doctor to doctor, reading countless books, listening to hours of podcasts, getting lost in research papers, etc. We then realized it wasn't the experts who had the solution, we had to look inside ourselves for that.
So, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. And after years of trial and error, we discovered that the most reliable way to optimize our health - to consistently feel better, look better and perform better - is to make our metabolism the central focus. Once we made this one change, life got much easier. Not easy, just easier.
Challenges still come up, but at least we now have a framework and process to figure things out. The hardest part is knowing where to start. The next hardest is finding a process you can trust that delivers results consistently. We believe we've found both and started Metabolic to share that with others.
